Incredible!! My favorite restaurant in Florence. Must have a reservation.
The gnocchi is melt in your mouth amazing and the steak exceptional!
Service cannot be beat. These guys are the best! I truly cannot wait to get back here! -

Dinner here Christmas night was a lovely experience. The service is wonderfully attentive and helpful, especially when choosing a wine, and the food is pleasantly enjoyable. It hasn't been my favorite meal in Florence but it's one I would certainly experience again.
The highlight was probably the filet mignon, which came bare without any sauce or rub, just pure char flavor of the crisp yet beautifully medium-rare filet. The wild boar tagliatelle was nicely al dente and beautiful to bite into, though the wild boar meat and sauce didn't have the deepest flavor profile, not as savory as other preparations have been but still quite easy to finish the plate.
The only dish that we really were averse too was the gnocchi. The flavors admittedly were incredibly intricate as was the interplay of textures, but it was rich and the intrigue was nice but I could maybe only have 3 bites of the dish. Not a chance I could or would have a full plate of it as an entree. Also the beauty of pillowy gnocchi is sort of lost in all of the sauce as opposed to being the star. -

I was super excited to try this restaurant in Florence given all the amazing reviews. We were initially so happy we came as the service was so welcoming and impeccable. True to our experiences in Italy, the wine options were also unbeatable with a good glass of chianti for about 4-5 euros.
Other peoples' amazing reviews started to be suspicious and unreliable when I had a piece of the bread for the table. Like how can you screw up bread? We couldn't even salvage it with olive oil, balsamic vinegar or cheese. It was possibly the worst bread I had ever tasted in a restaurant or someone else's home. My friend makes better homemade bread. Thus, I was not surprised that the gnocchi we ordered, though looked amazing, was also lackluster. The steak with truffle lacked taste as well. We thought it was maybe our fault for asking it to be done a little more than rare...
Truly, I would give the food and the bread a combined score of a 2, but given how great and friendly the wait staff was, I felt compelled to reward them for their impeccable service. -

This place is so so cute and the food is absolutely amazing. A bunch of us got the angels and devil gnocchi and it was seriously some of the best gnocchi I've ever had. The service was so friendly and the restaurant is bigger than it looks. Some of the main portions are smaller than I thought, but the food was amazing.

I had heard very good things about La Buchetta and had been dying to try it. My two girlfriends and I were late to our reservation and they were still very accommodating. We had amazing service and were very well taken care of. Not to mention that the food was absolutely amazing. Easily one of the best dinners that I have had yet in Florence!! Highly recommend. We ordered the caprese, the vongole, the gnocchi, and the wild boar tagliatelle! To die for!!
